At the Analysis Center Co., Ltd., we conduct "Exterior Wall Adhesion Material Surveys." Pyrolysis GC/MS analysis (Py-GC/MS) is a method that analyzes the decomposition products generated by rapidly heating a sample using GC/MS to identify the main components. It is effective for determining the types of polymer compounds such as plastics and rubber. In this case, we present an example of component analysis conducted on a small amount of black viscous material adhered to an exterior wall using pyrolysis-GC/MS analysis (Py-GC/MS).
